British Masters Sheffield 28th 30th October
Hello All
We are going to be a select band of swimmers in Sheffield this year with the majority of us being 'very very experienced swimmers' ok....'over 50' is a shorter description ...alright 'old' is even shorter.
Having looked at the timings of the relays and all your individual event timetables we have this year only entered 5 relays - the detail of which is attached.
Sorry Amber, Vicki and Alex not to have a fourth 19/24 age grouper to make up a team with you.
Jenny and Paul, sorry not have a team race for you this time around but I hope you are happy to be reserves (definitely not reserved). You will see that some of the teams have 5 people named so it may be a case of time trials at dawn.
Please let me know if you envisage any problems.
With warm wishes to you all and keep well.

Masters Go Mad in Mallorca September saw a group of CHE Masters old, current and new attend the B.E.S.T. Centre Masters Training Camp in the build up to the Midland and British Masters Championships in October. 9 x 2 hour sessions in 6 days saw Kate, Hayley, Stevan, Craig, Fatima & new recruit Mike push themselves to the absolute limit both in and out of the water. A great time was had by all.

ASA Masters Championships 2016
Hello All Camp Hill Eds swimmers. I thought I would send you the link with the schedule and the event conditions so that you can start to plan and decide which events you wish to go for. This is really to make you aware, if you aren't already, that when entries do open you should get yours in quickly. In amongst the conditions there are the following clauses. 4.2 The Promoter reserves the right to close entries before the published closing date should the event reach maximum capacity.
4.3
Qualifying times may be used in which case swimmers entering an event will have
had a time recorded on the ranking data base faster than or equal to the
qualifying time set for that event and achieved in the previous 24 months

European Masters 2016 London - Team News -
May 25th-29th We have a decent size squad (Team Sheet) heading down to London for this very large prestigious event. There is very little provision for spectators but we are advised that both pools will be streamed "live" on the LENTV channel. See... LEN - Dailymotion The stream doesn't appear to work on iPhone etc. as it needs "Flash Player" but works on PC and some Android devices. Hopefully LEN will publish detailed start sheets soon so you'll be able to see us all perform! Keep checking 25-29 May 2016 - Masters Championships page for details - Good Luck everyone |
CHESC new design hats and tops New design Swim Hats and Polo Shirts now available to order. See the new Shop section of the website |

Sunday 15th November 2015 –ASA Masters & Seniors Intercounties Competition–Midlands heat – Rugby Bernard Wills, Trevor Clark, Anne Bourne, Kate Chase, Hayley Bettinson and Amber Coughlan were all selected to represent Warwickshire in the annual ASA Masters & Senior Age Group Intercounties Competition. This annual event is the finale of the Masters competition calendar year and as always was keenly contested around the country. 28 counties took part at different venues throughout the country. Warwickshire comprehensively won the Midlands regional heat but was just 53 points short of taking National top spot from Yorkshire. Trevor Clark, as swimmer manager, yet again did a remarkable job in bringing together top flight swimmers ranging in age from 18 to 75 years to fill Warwickshire’s allotted lane in every single event of the programme. This is no mean feat and he has masterminded many County team selections over the past decade producing 3 first places, 2 second places and a third place. Between them the CHESC swimmers swam 18 events and helped amass more than 25% points out of Warwickshire’s team total of 1553 pts. An impressive contribution with some excellent and encouraging swims. KC |
